E-coli in Romaine Lettuce

Romaine lettuce is perhaps one of the most popular among vegetables used to make salad. Romaine lettuce have been recalled from all grocery stores. Romaine lettuce is reported to have E-coli bacteria in it from the state of Arizona. I used to love eating romaine salad, romaine classics, romaine salad kits, etc. Now I can't believe how this healthy veggie have been recalled. People are going to have to eat other veggies due to the fact the romaine lettuce was contaminated. We never know when our favorite foods that we really enjoy eating will be on the news, only to learn that they were recalled. Sadly, a lot of people have gotten sick because of food poisoning due to e-coli in food and water. I am looking forward to eating some of the following veggies instead of romaine lettuce: Carrot and raisin salad, broccoli, collard greens, kale, corn, tomatoes, brussell sprouts, sweet peas, cabbage, spinach, etc. I have not bought anymore romaine lettuce since I read the warning about how contaminated that the lettuce is and I don't plan to get anymore romaine lettuce in the future (safety first). Spread the word to family and friends about the romaine lettuce because they are being pulled from your favorite grocery stores near you.
