Mississippi State upsetting UCONN 66-64 in overtime in Dallas didn't shock me at. UCONN haven't loss a game in 3 years and had won 111 games in a row. The media hyped the UCONN women and the New England Patriots when they are winning. We all know, "you can't win them all," like they say. UCONN had embarrassed Mississippi State beating them by 62 points in the sweet 16 a year ago. Mississippi State circled this game and had a chance to get their rematch and Morgan William wins it at the buzzer for Mississippi State. I wish Mississippi State well and hope that they win the NCAA tournament for the girls because they were underdogs who played spoiler to go to the NCAA Title but Mississippi State couldn't make it a Cinderella story falling to South Carolina. When teams are winning you can't help but to hype them up but when they lose in an upset, it's like that shocked us but the truth is not every favored team always make the big plays it takes to win in crucial moments in close games. I remember the year when the New England Patriots went undefeated going (16-0) one year and media was talking about the Patriots could go 19-0 and at the time to win their 4th Super Bowl but Eli Manning and the New York Giants (10-6) circled that Super Bowl because the Giants remember how Tom Brady and Patriots beat the Giants in the regular season and Eli Manning threw the game winning TD pass to David Tyree (what an incredible catch) as the Giants upset the Patriots 17-14. Don't be surprised by upsets because that's what make games fun when there are upsets. If every favorite team were to win all of their games then it wouldn't be any fun watching games on TV.
