Cool Gifts

I thought that it would be a good idea to blog about cool gifts. There are some people who get really cool gifts and there are some people who get really lousy gifts. The people who get the really cool gifts, whoever is thinking about them have really good taste or they were told what he or she should give them for a gift. People who get lousy gifts, whoever is thinking about them is not really thinking about them because they show it by the gift or gifts that they get him or her. Sometimes we are reminded of that famous old saying, "It's the thought that counts," when a person is trying to get you what you wanted and was not able to afford that gift then that's understandable. However, when a person is buying you what they think you should have then it's best if they don't get you a gift at all. Below I will have examples of what 7 cool gifts look and how these gifts will never get anyone in trouble when thinking of others.

Airline Tickets

Airline tickets are a really cool gift to give someone that you are flying in to stay with you. Booking tickets and sending for people is very common. Whether you are booking a ticket for a friend, family, or relative it's always good when there is a get together. For those who are traveling for business sometimes the company that he or she works for book tickets for them to travel to their final destination. Airline tickets are always cool gifts!

Gift cards

Sending gift cards to your best friend or a close relative is a really good idea. He or she can go to a restaurant, grocery store, or even a electronic store wherever that gift card supposed to be spent at. There are gift cards that are for the following prices: $10, $25, $50, $100, etc. "You can't go wrong" when you send gift cards to anyone.

Post cards

There is nothing like saying that you miss someone by saying it in a post card. You can expressive yourself how you want to in a post card. You may say to your friends or your spouse, "I wish you were here." For those who don't normally travel alone or travel a lot might send a post card from that particularly state or country that he or she never been to before. Sometimes people will buy a post card for their self if he or she don't have close friends or relatives.

House

You hear stories and even watch stories on TV about people who have lost their homes. Some homes that they lost were brand new and some homes they lived in them for a while. Not everyone has a story to tell of those who helped those who were homeless because their home was destroyed by a hurricane or tornado or how some crazy drunk driver crashed into their house and demolished it. There are some people who are blessed to tell their story because while they were in a shelter there were unexpected angels that the Lord had sent across their path to be a blessing to them. Some people were left a brand new house in a will, some people was given a house from their best friend, and sometimes people that didn't know that person at all, help set up a go fund me where they raised up enough money to help that person buy them a brand new home when their story went viral. 

Engagement Rings 

There is nothing like a boyfriend telling his girlfriend that he loves her by proposing to her. Buying a really cool engagement ring for someone is a really good way to say that they love that person and saying that they want to spend the rest of their life with them. A woman love a gift like this from her boyfriend especially when she is waiting for him to "pop the question." These are common gifts given every year when a guy either proposes getting down on one knee or just asks her if she will marry him.

Gift Certificate

Gift certificates are lovely especially husbands want to give these gifts to their wives. A gift certificate can be for a massage at a spa or even for a pedicure. There is nothing like a gift certificate that shows how much cool of a gift to get like that. The thoughtful idea of gift certificates is the reason why you see and hear a lot of spouses say how they are spoiled.

Weddings

Perhaps the coolest gift anyone could ever ask for or get without asking is a dream wedding. I am a fan of church weddings because what is really significant, it's all about the covenant that go along with a wedding besides a marriage certificate and wedding ring. There is nothing like a covenant than when God put 2 people together who are meant to be together. A church wedding is a traditional wedding that nowadays people don't have weddings there as much like they have had in the past.  

Displaying Speedy Ads on your website

I thought I that I advertise speedy ads website. I am knew to adding ads to my website and decided it would be a good idea to visit different ad websites that would help income earning. Do you find yourself feeling like you're in a "no win" situation trying to earn online income? It's all a scam is what most people feel when they try different online websites that say you can earn $100 dollars a day, $300 dollars a day, and what most people is coming to realize when they advertise when they say that it's free, we all know that nothing in life is free. You have to work for everything. Some ads websites want you to generate a lot of traffic in order for your website to be approved. I've been through trying to generate traffic on my website, I had this website 6 years ago when I was in Chattanooga, TN. The very first blog that I remember writing about was about traveling. I've deleted every blog that I wrote in 2011-2012 before I wrote the fictional story blog that I wrote back in March of 2017. Well, I decided that it would be a good idea to tell my readers and bloggers about speedy ad and for those who have speedy ad could tell me if the ad website is a good way to earn income or I should try other online ad websites where I can earn much more income. I decided to display these 2 simple ads from speedy ads. I want my readers and bloggers to know that I only display non-offensive ads on my website. Offensive ads is one of the problems that may cause someone's account for that online website to be terminated because he or she didn't follow the rules in the agreement that they made when their website was approved to display ads. The whole ads idea is complex and I can understand why people can find the explanation of why having ads on a website can be a good money maker for those who are trying to earn more income to pay their bills. What I also found when checking out the different google ads that are Adsense alternatives (Ad websites people try when they were disapproved by Adsense) is that some give you the option on earning money through a debit style credit card, paypal, check, and other forms of receiving payment. If there were ever anything that was more complex then this would be a topic of conversation especially for those who were drawing a whole lot of traffic on their website and didn't receive their form of payment that he or she requested when they filled out the ad website's payment form. Probably the biggest challenge or challenges people have when getting the codes to put on their website is following the directions and when he or she copy the code to their website is that their website is showing blank ads or no ads. You are encouraged to listen to people on YouTube who told their stories how they were able to generate traffic on their website, got approved on Adsense, Adsense alternatives or other ad websites, how they were able to get paid with no problem, and how he or she were able to copy codes to their websites and the ads were able to show up with no problem on their website.

Healthy Food

The importance of eating healthy is vital especially for those who have high blood pressure, high blood sugar, high cholesterol, and other health problems. I for one love me some good home cooked food and it's delicious but eating healthy is a way of life for me. As an active person who enjoys walking and exercising if I didn't eat any healthy food I would be out of shape, sluggish, and wouldn't inspire people who wanted to stay in shape and be active. There is nothing wrong with eating the foods that we enjoy but the same food can be prepared healthy. Healthy bars like Lara bars are really good for us. Below I'm going to mention 7 really good healthy foods.

Nutri Grain Bars

Nutri grain bars are very good healthy breakfast bars if you are on the go and don't have time to eat breakfast. Nutri grain bars are really good for traveling whether on business trips or leisure trips. These bars are good to eat for a snack as well. I didn't have these bars in a while but they will always be known as one of the best traveling healthy foods for visiting family, friends, or relatives who are out of state.

Trail Mix

Mixed nuts, fruit, and candy are a really good combination. If you ever were to want to have a healthy food to have for a snack or lunch it would be trail mix. Trail mix are really good traveling food if you are on the go like nutri grain bars or you can stay at home and enjoy them too! For those who have health challenges a lot of these healthy foods are gluten free. 

Veggie Deluxe Pizza

Whether you eat Pizza for breakfast, lunch, or dinner veggie deluxe is the way to go. Say you are on a business trip for your job and it seem like you are surrounded by restaurants that have all types of unhealthy food, you have enough will power to say "thanks but no thanks" and order you a Pizza at Pizza Hut or Dominoes Pizza. You can never going wrong when you order a veggie deluxe pizza. Or if you prefer to make your own pizza then you know the ingredients that you would want for your pizza. For example mushrooms, olives, green peppers, red peppers, cheese, with or without healthy meat like ground turkey and you have something not only delicious but healthy too!

Macaroni & Cheese

Macaroni & Cheese is my favorite food. I have had both homemade mac and cheese and the box mac and cheese where you have to follow the directions. With southern food being my favorite food I prefer homemade mac and cheese, lol. I have never had healthy homemade mac and cheese but I believe will someday. Occasionally, I will mix sweet peas with the mac and cheese that I make from the box. People can put carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, etc., in their mac and cheese if they want. Mac and cheese can be made like a casserole for dinner.

Yogurt Parfait

If you are a yogurt lover like myself, then you know the different combinations that you can use to make a yogurt parfait. Vanilla or plain yogurt can be used for the following ingredients to be in your yogurt: granola, strawberries, blueberries, black berries, raspberries, nuts are optional, etc. This is good for breakfast or even as a dessert. This healthy food is delicious!

Frozen Greek Yogurt

The first time that I had Greek yogurt was maybe 3 or 4 years ago. I didn't know how good Greek yogurt would be until I tried it. Greek yogurt taste so good that I was amazed and loved Greek yogurt ever since. I've had frozen Greek yogurt that I can remember maybe once or twice and much like Greek yogurt I loved it just the same. Like Greek yogurt or yogurt, you can add berries if you want to give it more flavor. Frozen Greek yogurt is another healthy dessert that is really good!

Water

We have to water in order to survive. It's vital that we drink enough water in order to stay hydrated. For those who are not much of a water drinker you can mix water with juice to give it the taste you want. There is vitamin water for those who don't like how water taste. I'm not encouraging people to just have sugar water because they don't like the taste of water. I love cold water whether it's spring water or tap water. I personally feel that both tap water and spring water is good. This beverage is a really good thirst quencher. Whenever you come from walking, jogging, running, cycling, weightlifting, or any other exercise that help you burn calories water is a must drink. People who sweat a lot from intense exercises tend drink water and pour it all over their face.

For all the readers and bloggers who are into healthy eating people also make healthy smoothies, healthy milkshakes, healthy chips, healthy candy, etc. If you also want to have a lot of energy you are encouraged to take multi vitamins. A one a day which I have been taking for 16 years now is one of the main reasons that I'm very active. I'm a military veteran (I'm too old to re-enlist in the military) and I learned about discipline when I was in the military. These were things that helped me stay in shape. I come from a family where being in shape was not an option. My late father was always in shape and I've learned that from him. I hope that these healthy foods that was mentioned above is helpful to my readers and bloggers who want to be in shape.

Fictional Story: The Life of the Henry Family

You are going to hear about a documentary about a family who enjoys fall and how they celebrate their favorite season. Charles Henry who is a film buff enjoys filming his family and their interests. Henry will describe how family that are really close do things together and even how family who are not close can learn how to come together even when things are rough. Henry's parents inspires him to be a filmmaker because he has a passion recording fun and goofy things that the family do when they are together for special occasions. This fictional story will probably be the only ever documentary that you will read about from a filmmaker.

My name is Charles Henry and I thought it would be a good idea to write about a documentary about the Henry's and how they celebrate fall. The family fall tradition is when the Henry family are together we always celebrate by eating out. I'm the middle child in my family. I have an older brother and a younger sister. Justin, is the eldest brother and Kathleen is the youngest (baby sister). Kathleen loves going to the mall. Kathleen is a chocolate lover who loves her dresses and her shoes. Justin, the oldest, enjoys going to concerts and always stays after to meet and greet with famous pop stars and Justin always get their autographs. I'm into film making and I love filming with a passion. My parents always encourages me to record things because they know how much I love to record what the Henry family does. We really enjoy family time in the Henry household. We are a tight knit family who enjoys hanging out and acting goofy. Probably our favorite Henry family tradition is my Aunt Susan's pumpkin spice caramel cupcakes with marshmallow frosting!(Yummy) Aunt Susan always bakes wonderful cakes, pies, cupcakes, and cookies. I have family who is from Nebraska (I reside in Omaha with my family), Kansas, and Missouri and we visit each other during the holidays. Me and my family do have arguments but my Uncle Willie (we call him the mediator and peacemaker) always get the family to calm down when we play the following games: UNO, Dominoes, Monopoly, and Scrabble.

The family is always there for each other and got each other's back. What I like most about the Henry family is that we enjoy helping others. We see a lot of homeless people on the street and the Henry family open their home and invite them over for lunch or dinner. What we always do is help the homeless get job interviews. We give the homeless some clothes because their clothes are raggedy and dirty and they are so grateful for anything that they get and people do for them. The homeless people not only get jobs but they help out the fellow homeless like themselves by helping them get job interviews. That's how we help our Community and everyone just get into being generous!

Toys R US filed for Bankruptcy

Toys R US is in $5 billion dollars worth of debt

I remember the 80's famous commercial "I don't wanna grow up I'm a Toys R US kid..." on TV. Toys R US had toys, video games, action figures, dolls etc., for kids. Where do you go from there if you are a famous toy store like Toys R US filing for bankruptcy? If you are a mom or dad or a grandma or grandpa have children or grandchildren ages 3-12 how do you explain to them that his or hers favorite toy store filed for bankruptcy because they is in $5 billion dollars worth of debt. You don't want to hurt their feelings because that was where you did holiday shopping for your kids or grand kids. You have to tell them that this store just couldn't keep selling their favorite toys because they can't afford to stay around. It can be discouraging to see or hear about a store file for bankruptcy the same way it can be discouraging to hear about a store merging with another store to save that store from going out of business. Toys R US have been around probably long before I was thought of. I think Toys R US can bounce back from their financial problems. If anyone who can overcome a $5 billion dollar debt deficit it would have to be a store like Toys R US. Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda & Lily Tomlin's Hilarious '9 To 5' Reunion | Em...

Last night I watched Lily Tomlin (who is gay) and Jane Fonda roasted President Trump at the Sunday Emmy's on Inside Edition. Dolly Parton didn't say anything about President Trump. Conservatives are upset because Dolly Parton was on stage with the other 2 women who were roasting President Trump. Dolly Parton had a look of disbelief on her fellow cast members from the movie 9 To 5 and instead of telling them about themselves, Dolly Parton decided to make a joke about herself. These women used humor in what they said. Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda made it political not Dolly Parton. When you are going up for awards or nominated for awards it ruins the moment when people try to make it political. We all enjoy a really good laugh don't get me wrong but if you want to blame anyone and get upset, get upset with Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda because they were the ones who roasted President Trump fellow Conservatives IMHO.  Just My 2 Cents. 

Fall/Autumn

Autumn leaves are so beautiful during the fall season. Leaves changing color coming off the trees are a wonderful thing to watch. September, October, and November tend to be mild during the Autumn season. Fall festivals are awesome to celebrate this season! A lot of people seem to enjoy spice pumpkin whether it's coffee, donuts, cookies, cake, muffins, etc. Hot pumpkin spice latte is awesome when it is cold.

Camping, hiking, bike riding, walking, dog walking, etc., can be fun to do in Autumn. These hobbies can be done in the mild or cold Autumn with the proper clothing for mild & cold weather. Fall parades & festivals are fun events to attend! Parades are always fun to see different people who are in the parades marching, riding in the floats, or even have their face painted to represent the fall season. The holidays like Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving are always fun for Autumn especially being around people you really care about. Family & friends hanging out whether going out to eat or eating at each other's house. We could never forget the people that the Lord put in our life who were a blessing. We will always remember the things that he or she said that helped us grow as a person and some of the same people felt that same way about us! 

I couldn't write about Autumn that is only 4 days away in a poem like I was able to write about spring and summer. There is just too many words to say and I can't cay all of the words how much this season is my favorite season. Thanksgiving being my favorite holiday and enjoying home cooked food whether in state or out of state and being surrounded by diversity. Being thankful to me means more than just a holiday where people are sitting at a table eating really good grub and saying what he or she is thankful for on Thanksgiving (I used to say that when I was little so I know what it is all about). To me being thankful is letting people know that you appreciate the things that they told you that was helpful to you even when you didn't always wanted to hear it especially when it was the truth. On that note I hope that the fall season find everyone in good health and full of happiness! I hope that all of my readers enjoy!

Jemele Hill should be dismissed from ESPN

I don't listen to ESPN on the radio too much on the radio or watch ESPN on TV because I only have basic cable. I don't know Jemele Hill nor did I know that this woman had a show. Whatever happen to people only talking about things that related to the topic on their job? ESPN is a sports network that have laid off so many workers as well as have workers leave the company to pursue other things. If you want to talk about anything non-relevant to what you are supposed to talk about while you are on any show at least have some class to do it on your break or when you are not on your shift where viewers are tuning in to listen to you on the radio or watching you on TV. Jemele Hill only apologized for her comments to the company she work for but not to President Trump. ESPN I know that y'all  would have disciplined someone else and I'm not going to play the race card bait because this is coming from me who is black myself. If you are not going to hold accountability for someone who is wrong for the things that he or she says no matter what color of their skin that they are then I honestly can understand how ESPN has dropped in viewers. Jemele Hill's disrespect that she shows toward the President of the United States shows that she really don't respect authority and that reflects ESPN as a whole. I'm not trying to tell you how you should run your company ESPN but you might want to do more than accept Jemele Hill's apology to ESPN only and not President Trump. Dismiss Jemele Hill from ESPN is a no brainer IMHO.

Florida Millionaire Opens Home To Displaced Foster Kids

I saw such a wonderful story last night on TV, Fox News Channel 6 at 10PM last night. Millionaire Marc Bell & his wife Jennifer opened up their $30 million dollar mansion in Boca Raton, FL to 70 displaced foster kids. The married couple felt that it would be a really good idea to help out those foster kids that didn't have anywhere to stay when Hurricane Irma hit the sunshine state after they had to leave the shelters when the storm was over. It was an act of kindness by the couple to offer up their home like that. The couple say that the foster kids can stay in their mansion as long as they wanted to. The foster kids might stay there until they are grown, lol! There is plenty of room and plenty of fun activities for the foster kids to play and the kids were really enjoying themselves. Marc Bell did say that he only used tape on 2 things saying "Do not touch" in Bell and his wife huge house. The foster kids can rest easy and know that they have a place to stay and call home. I thought that this was such a wonderful story that it made my 100th blog post for blogger on my website!😎😤

This young girl 15, speaks out about disgraced Mayor Anthony Weiner sexting her. Did Anthony Weiner really uses the nickname T-Dog to a minor on social media? Wow, Anthony Weiner threw away his marriage for sexting minor girls on social media. This young girl had no influence on the voters voting the way that they did for Donald Trump. Hillary Clinton was a bad candidate who just was too hard-headed and stubborn to realize that people was not going to come out and support her with the Benghazi scandal, her illegal use of her private email server deleting 33,000 emails, her bad health which she refused to realize that she is not in good health, and the Clinton foundation taking gifts from third world countries. The young minor felt that it was time to break her silence. I knew she was happy that Hillary Clinton didn't win but she had nothing to worry about because there was too many people praying and thanking God that the Evangelicals came out to vote because they knew what was at stake in the 2016 election.  Anthony Weiner get sentenced 2 years in jail and his wife Huma Abedin will look to file for divorce ASAP.

Melissa O Radio WIHS 41916 full interview

WIHS 104.9FM radio station is played 24-7 in my house and has been playing in my house for 48 years (this radio station has been on for 48 years). This is an interview of Melissa Oretade done by Teresa Daly and Gerry Williams back in August. This radio station is in 1933 South Main Street in Middletown, CT (South end of Downtown Middletown). There are a lot of programs that I enjoy listening to on this radio station. I enjoy listening to Boundless with Lisa Anderson on Saturdays at 11:04AM, the request hour Sundays at 4:30PM, Gospel Saturdays (ever 4th Saturdays) from 4:05PM-5PM, etc. I really enjoy listening to Gerry Williams on the radio! For those of you who don't listen to Christian radio and is really into Christian programming you are encouraged to check out programs like K-Love 106.9FM, WIHS 104.9FM, WSDK 1550AM with David Paul (I am in the Greater Hartford area where I'm from). You are encouraged to check out Christian programming in your area where you are from if you don't have a good church home. I thought I would be able to advertise this station another way using sharethis but this radio station advertise the old fashion way. I respect those who advise the original way before technology advanced using the internet and social media. For every state that Defunds Planned Parenthood is a victory for women's health. Taxpayers should never have to pay their hard earned money to fund abortions. Governor Henry McMaster of South Carolina decided to do what was best for women's health by saying "No" to Planned Parenthood by" directing state agencies to cease all funds to abortion providers and looking to have Department of Health and Human Services seek from the federal government waivers to exclude abortion clinics from the Medicaid Provider in the state of South Carolina." When I look at the different companies that invest in funding Planned Parenthood, I think to myself if anyone could get through to Hollywood how much they are making a huge mistake donating to an abortion clinic like Planned Parenthood that murders babies which is 70% of what Planned Parenthood is about. Women don't have to listen to the doctors that tell them that they should abort their babies because of their babies challenges. I hope more states will continue to support Defunding Planned Parenthood. A month or so ago the Senate voted on leaving it up to the 50 states to decide on Defunding Planned Parenthood or not. It was a 50-50 tie and Vice President Mike Pence voted yes for the 50 states to be able to decide if they wanted to Defund Planned Parenthood when Senate failed to Repeal and Replace Obamacare on July 28, 2017.

Tens of thousands of people without homes
'Cause of the big storm
Flooding in South Texas and Louisiana
Forcing a lot of people into shelters
Not everyone's homes stayed intact
Causing Texans and Non-Texans to react
Donating food, clothes, and  money, etc.
Helping comforting those who lost friends, family, and love ones in Hurricane Harvey
Texans reminded how tough and strong they are
Not wavering and keeping the faith
How the Lord is blessing them and bringing them through every day
Like any other storm bringing every one closer together
How both party affiliations the Democrats and Republicans united together as one
Telling Hurricane Harvey survivors and victims that they are strong
Reminding them that these survivors and victims are in everyone's thoughts and prayers
The Lord is comforting the survivors and victims
People are volunteering and cleaning up the damages in the flooded cities
To all of those who are victims and survivors of this storm
I thought I would write about y'all in my poem
For those who are in shelter because you have no more homes
And those whose homes were able to be salvaged
The Lord is giving you strength to overcome the aftermath of this storm

MO Democratic Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal Removed From Committee Assignme...

This woman reminds me of disgraced Comedienne Kathy Griffin who said things that got her fired. Democratic Senator Chapelle-Nadal is another person I felt that got a "pat on the back" for being removed from committee assignment. The woman posted threatening words to the President of the United States. Why is Senator Chappelle-Nadal not serving prison time? This woman is not worthy to be called a Senator let alone be Senator. I don't understand why Missouri is letting this woman off because her apology is not sincere at all and even if her apology was sincere, she was wrong to say it in the begin with which is something not worth posting on my blog. Had any normal person would have done what Senator Chappelle-Nadal have done he or she would have been immediately fired and walking away in handcuffs in a police squad car. This woman will not resign as Senator, I think she should be forced out of office as Senator. I don't know Senator Chapelle-Nadal nor does anyone else who never met Senator Caphelle-Nadal know her but ignorant, anger, and her hate is why her being as Senator does nothing but "add fuel to the fire" in the state of Missouri that already has St. Louis ranked up there in the Top 10 among dangerous US cities (St. Louis at #1 most violent cities). 😦😭😠 

Arrest of University Hospital nurse Alex Wubbels

Salt Lake City nurse Alex Wubbels was arrested because she wouldn't draw a blood sample to an unconscious man. It is illegal for a nurse to draw a blood sample for an unconscious man. Wubbels explained to the police officer that the unconscious patient have to be under arrest or the police needed to have a warrant consent from the unconscious patient in order for Wubbels to draw a blood sample (hospital policy since 2007). The police officer was out of line and used excessive force by man handling Wubbels and arrested Wubbels. Wubbels had done nothing wrong and followed the hospital policy. The police officer I do believe was suspended which is a "pat on the back" in my opinion. No reason at all for the police officer to even arrest Wubbels because Wubbels did absolutely nothing wrong at all. That police officer should be fired. Wubbels has hired a lawyer and I hope justice will be served. That police officer should never be allowed to work on the force again because he was absolutely wrong. Wubbels was sobbing because the police officer was hurting her. 😠😠😠

Favorite Classics

I am amazed at the different classics that came out long before I was thought of. For all of those who were born or who were little during the area of the 30's, 40's, 50's 60's, and 70's will find the 7 things that I am going to mention familiar to you. Black and white was how it was up until the early 60's and then things were in color. Probably the most original, clean, and fun in the era's that I mentioned will be what my Senior citizen readers and bloggers will never forget about the era that they were born or grew up in. The favorite classics that I am going to mention, some of you may find that they are your favorite as well. I hope that all of my readers enjoy!

The Wizard of Oz

Probably one of the most favorite classical movies that I grew up watching the original reruns is The Wizard of Oz. The 1939 version of the Wizard of Oz in color is a wonderful musical movie that I always enjoyed watching. Dorothy in her red shoes and her dog Toto meeting the different people like the tin man (who needed a heart), the cowardly lion (who needed courage), and the scarecrow (who needed a brain), as they all head on the yellow brick road to meet the wizard who is suppose to give them these things. The fictional movie had Dorothy's shiny red shoes; the good witch told Dorothy all she had to do was click her shoes together and say the words, "There is no place like." Those words were famous for Dorothy wanting to return back to Kansas while dreaming of not being in Kansas anymore.

Probably the funniest classics of I Love Lucy that a lot of people remember is Lucy and Ethel working at the chocolate factory. This episode was hilarious! This is another one of my favorite classics reruns that I grew up watching. This episode was in 1952 and the women wanted to see what it would be like working outside of the home. Lucy and Ethel learned how different things were and how fast pace the job that they were doing is.

This 1940's rotary phone is something that came out long before I was even thought of. I never got to use one of these phones. The Amish people have the original black rotary phone. I never even seen one of these phones except on TV. I'm picturing myself using one of these phones to call my friends and family and think that I would be thought of as "truly old skool," LOL! For those who were born in this era or grew up in the 40's will remember the rotary phones. Beside the Amish people I wonder who have a rotary phone and if so do anyone still use a rotary phone anymore?

Probably my favorite era that I was not born in or grew up in would have to be the 60's. I often wonder what it would have been like to be a "Hippie." I think nursing is vital for people who are furthering their education because there are shortage of nurses. There are a lot of people who are going to college because they want to be an RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (License Practical Nurse) when they graduate. I just think that the 60's have a lot of classical musical movies and shows that are a "pick me up" when you are bored. I thought that I would have the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, and 70's (early and mid 70's too) favorite classics to show my appreciation to the eras that came before me!😎
