Adorable Little Boy Helps Elderly Woman Up A Flight Of Stairs
Story of the day is by far is an 8 year old little boy who helped an elderly woman up the stairs. Maurice Adams of Milledgeville, GA immediately came to the aide of the elderly woman who had her walker and Maurice decided to help someone who needed help. People who are wondering if there are any "good Samaritans" out there just watch this video and you will be in awe! The boy didn't realize that he was being filmed and Maurice was with his mom when it all happened. The boy hugged the elderly woman and the elderly woman thanked Maurice and the elderly woman gave Maurice $100 for helping her up the stairs. I thought that this was a story that was worth sharing on my blog. I am glad I did!! No matter how things are or how wicked people are let this "act of kindness" remind us that there are people who are still warm-hearted, thoughtful, and caring. Maurice keep reminding people that there are still good people out there. 😂😎🙌🙆

Golden State Warriors vs Houston Rockets | Best Highlights | Game 7 | Ma...
The future looks bright for the Houston Rockets. This Houston Rockets team gave the Golden State Warriors fits in the Western Conference finals. We were all anticipating the series to go 7 games and it went exactly 7 games. The Rockets had a wonderful regular season and James Harden played like an MVP during that span. I don't think that the Rockets could have did any better than the way that they played last night. The Rockets matched up really well against the Golden State Warriors. Kevin Durant led the Golden State Warriors with 34 points in the Golden State Warriors 101-92 win over the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center in Houston in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals to advance to their 4th straight NBA Finals which will start Thursday May 31. I'm not going to beat up on Harden because Harden gave it his all. The Houston Rockets have proven to be a team in the west that can challenge the Golden State Warriors and a team that could put them out of the NBA Finals. The Boston Celtics have proven to be a team in the east that could challenge the Cleveland Cavaliers and a team that could put them out of the NBA Finals. LeBron James led the Cavaliers with 35 points with a 87-79 Game 7 win over the Celtics at TD Garden in Boston. This will be a showdown between Cleveland and Golden State Part 4 in the NBA Finals.
Meanwhile, you have to like how the Boston Celtics, who were without their superstars Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving and how hard the Celtics played during Hayward and Irving's absence. You have to like how the Houston Rockets played hard without their superstar Chris Paul in Games 6 & 7 of Western Conference Finals. This is all a part of the business of no excuses and neither team made excuses. Both teams have bright futures and your hats have to go off to them.🎩🏀 Can the Houston Rockets be in the conversation as NBA Title contenders? If Paul George is a restricted free agent the Rockets may try landing George this off season to Houston. I feel that the Houston Rockets are a superstar away from winning more NBA Championships. As an NBA fan and a Rockets fan for 14 years now I understand the business and basketball moves that these NBA superstars have to make. As a NBA fan no matter who your favorite NBA team is, you are praying and hoping that the superstar or superstars will land on your team and help your team win. Houston have excellent depth and proven that against the Golden State Warriors, who depth have dropped this past year. Mike D'Antoni did a wonderful job preparing his team to go to battle against the NBA defending champions Golden State Warriors and "you can't ask for anything more."

President Trump cancels June 12th meeting with Kim Jong Un
We we all are anticipating the US-North Korea peace talks. The US used really tough sanctions on North Korea. North Korea were testing out their nuclear weapons and the US military were prepping just in case of a war. US, South Korea, China (who we have a strained relationship with) etc., were prepared just in case Kim Jong Un wanted to "play with fire" when he was shooting off his mouth." Then something drastically appeared to happen. North Korea leader Kim Jong Un was surrendering and started to act civilized. Kim Jong Un decided that he would come to the negotiating table with President of the United States Donald J. Trump with appeared to be US-North Korea peace talks. Kim Jong Un made steps in denuclearizing his weapons program in North Korea. North Korea released 3 US hostages that were held captive in North Korea. The 3 US hostages were safely returned back to the US. Then there were something else that we were all anticipating. The June 12th summit meeting would take place in Singapore between North Korea (one of the US biggest enemies) and the US. This meeting was looking like that the US and North Korea would become perhaps allies.
Meanwhile, there were those who knew better and who never really believed North Korea leader Kim Jong Un. Some people felt that there were motives and special conditions that Kim Jong Un wanted. North Korea cancelled talks with South Korea because of South Korea and the US (both allies to each other) military drills. Kim Jong Un threatened to cancel the summit meeting with the President Trump on June 12th for that very reason. Basically, the US and South Korea were supposed to stop their military drills since Kim Jong Un promised that he would denuclearize his weapons program and released the 3 American hostages from North Korea and safely returned them back to the United States. "Happening not gonna" because Kim Jong Un can't fully be trusted, he had his father and brother murdered and he has starved his own people while Kim Jong Un and his sister is "sitting pretty" and having a wonderful life. Kim Jong Un knew that if he would have mentioned these special conditions upfront to the US and South Korea that there would not have been any negotiation talks and there would not have been talks about a summit meeting between Kim Jong Un and President Trump. Kim Jong Un went back to what got really tough sanctions put on North Korea. Kim Jong Un "shot off his mouth" and directed his anger on Vice President of the United States Mike Pence by calling Vice President Pence an idiot. President Trump abruptly cancelled the summit meeting that was scheduled to take place on June 12th in Singapore. President Trump is hopeful that North Korea is ready to truly be submissive to where there will be US-North Korea peace talks. As far as the US and South Korea suspending their military drills happening, "not even in your dreams" will that ever happen Kim Jong Un. Now if North Korea wants to play "hardball" and un-denuclearize their nuclear weapons program, President Trump have stated that our US military is more stronger than before and the US is prepared and the US allies are prepared to defend themselves if they have to against North Korea.

Why I feel Tonya Harding loss on Dancing With The Stars
Till this very day there are people who still believe that former figure skater Tonya Harding had something to do with injuring former skater Nancy Kerrigan's knee back in 1994. Till this very day there are people who still believe that Nancy Kerrigan is a spoiled and stuck up snobby woman. Well, Ms. Kerrigan come across that way anyway. Ms. Kerrigan has forgiven Ms. Harding even though Ms. Harding only apologized for hanging around people who were bad influence around Ms. Harding to Ms. Kerrigan on Oprah in 1998. Ms. Kerrigan has moved on from what happened in 1994. Ms. Harding, who put out a movie I Tonya who depicted her childhood being abused by her mother and grew up to be a wonderful figure skater; America felt that Ms. Harding deserved a second chance to prove what Ms. Harding has learned despite the rough life that Ms. Harding wanted America to know about concerning Ms. Harding's rocky childhood.
Meanwhile, lets get on why Ms. Harding loss on Dancing With The Stars. Ms. Harding have not spoken to her mom in 16 years to even communicate with Ms. Harding. I'm sure Ms. Harding's mom would at least would like know why Ms. Harding won't talk to her instead of just completely shutting Ms. Harding's mom out of her life and out of her mom's grandson's life. Ms. Harding discredited her mom and gave all the credit to Ms. Harding's late dad for helping Ms. Harding be such a great figure skater that Ms. Harding is. Ms. Harding ignores the fact that Ms. Harding's mom took 3 minimum wage low paying jobs as a single mom just so that Ms. Harding and her mom would have a roof over their heads', food to eat, and clothes to wear. Ms. Harding's mom was the one who paid for Ms. Harding's skates and outfits and were at Ms. Harding's competitions when Ms. Harding was growing up. America voted for Ms. Harding in the final 3 to see if being on Dancing With The Stars would be a humbling experience for Ms. Harding. Ms. Harding said, "I just wanted to prove that I belong here," referring to making the Top 3 on Dancing With The Stars.
Ms. Harding no one that was pulling for your never really doubted your skills as a figure skater. Your mom said that was the reason why she pushed you so hard. Ms. Harding your mom saw so much potential in you but you took being pushed like you were pushed around. Ms. Harding we all can honestly say that we didn't always agree with our parents methods when they were raising us. I know a lot of parents out there can say that they have children that feel that their parents were too soft on them, too hard on them, and both too soft and too hard on them growing up. The one thing we got to understand is that our parents did the best that they could raising us. Whether you grew up in a single parent household with just mom or just dad being there or both parents raising you with both mom and dad being there, when we grow up to be adults we can never forget what our parents taught us and how our parents did the things that they did out of love. Ms. Harding I'm not going to judge you for not speaking to your mom and why you are angry at your mom. However, hearing your mom give an interview on Entertainment Tonight & ABC News does not sound like a mom who abused you growing up. Just My 2 Cents.

Join the American Idol Top 3 on Their Hometown Visits - American Idol 20...
Probably the best part of Season 16 of American Idol was the Top 3 Homecoming. I never thought I that I would say that but their homecoming was by far better than the performances last night in my opinion. I missed the old format of AI where you had 4 groups and Wildcard. 2 contestants were picked out of each group based on America's votes into the Top 12 and then there were Wildcards. The wildcards who were eliminated got to come back and sing to try to earn their spot into the Top 12. There were 3 judges and they picked their 3 wildcards and the audience voted for the last wildcard to make the Top 12. The Top 10 went on tour. The show now has become more like a popularity contest than a singing competition. If I had to pick who I would like to see win out of this group it would be Maddie Poppe and Caleb Lee Hutchinson runner-up to her in my humble opinion. Gabby Barrett should have left and Michael Woodard should have been in the finale instead of Gabby. I thought that if Michael would have been in the finale that he would have won Season 16 of AI. There are people who think that this season was biased because no black person made the finale. The judges also shocked me. I felt that all the judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan and I have the utmost respect for the judges, I felt they were too sugar-coating and was not always honest when critiquing the contestants performances. In other words, when a contestant or contestants had an off night or nights the judges should have said "that was by far your weakest performance" making a statement like when the contestants are in the Top 5 or Top 3 really don't help him or her in the long run if they don't win. All these Top 10 contestants are winners and is going to get contract signings no doubt but sometimes you have to want people to succeed because not everyone want to see people succeed in the music industry and that's what is sad about the business. There are so much great talent out there especially singers who flop because who he or she signed a record deal with, the company only wanted to see them flop and he or she more often or not quit singing the record company. AI have officially become a popularity contest and I have never thought that AI would "stoop to this level". 😞

Fictional Story: The Dalton family welcoming the new neighbors the Austin family
Joey Austin 13, decided that he would do volunteer work delivering newspapers to the next door neighbors. Originally from Cleveland, OH, Joey and his family just moved from Cleveland to Lafayette, LA. Joey thought that it would be a really nice gesture to do little errands like deliver newspapers, wash the neighbors cars, go to the store for the neighbors and do grocery shopping, etc. Being the "new kid on the block" would also be a good way that Joey can make friends. Joey's next door neighbors happened to be the Dalton family. Richie, Lorraine, and their daughter Lillie Dalton 14, really have bonded with Joey and his family. The Dalton family are outgoing and outspoken people who are proud unapologetic Conservatives who are licensed and own a rifle & the Dalton's are proud members of the NRA (Pro 2nd Amendment).
Meanwhile, Joey is trying to adapt to Southern life moving from Southern New England to the Southeast in Louisiana. Every time Joey rides his bike to deliver newspapers to the neighbors, the neighbors always bless Joey with money or a good southern style home-cooked meal. The Dalton's let Joey know where they stand whenever Joey deliver newspapers. The Dalton's "don't take no for an answer," Joey understands that the Dalton's will always give Joey money and a good home-cooked meal every time. Joey made a mistake one time of saying "no thank you" but got grilled by Lorraine Dalton and from that incident always said "yes thank you" when the Dalton's bless Joey. The neighbors could see a kind-hearted person in Joey that they don't mind Joey baby-sitting their toddlers, walking their dogs, or even cleaning their yard. The Dalton family are proud country 'folk and the Dalton family are very hospitable whenever they invite people over their house for special occasions.
Joey is going to the 8th grade and Joey's parents Dan and Shirley is thinking about homeschooling Joey. The Dalton family have home-schooled their daughter Lillie since 5th grade. You can only begin to imagine what that experience is like in the Dalton family. Lillie has been on so many field trips both in state and out of state. Lillie keeps a scrapbook filled with pictures that Lillie have taken on those field trips. Joey has been in public school from Kindergarten- 4th grade and has now been in private school from 5th- 7th grade. Joey has been on maybe a few field trips that he can honestly say that is worthy of talking about. Joey and his family have moved from the ghetto inner-city of Cleveland to Lafayette to have a better life. It's interesting how people have different experiences from each other. It's amazing how people use those experiences to share with each other and they are attuned with each other and listening and becoming the best of friends.
East Cleveland is where Joey & his family moved from because it was a really rough neighborhood.
Lafayette, LA where Joey and his family moved to.
Pro 2nd Amendment
It's all about being neighborly especially when you move into the neighborhood.

My Personal Experience of an Addiction
Video Game Addict
I am going to be honest and reveal my addiction to all of my readers and fellow bloggers. My addiction was to video games. This goes back to my junior high and high school years (27 years ago to be exact). When I used to have regular Nintendo I was addicted to Super Mario Brothers/Duck Hunt and The Real Ghostbusters and when I had Super Nintendo I was addicted to Mortal Kombat II and Killer Instinct. When I talk about being addicted I used to have dreams about playing these video games and beating them. I had that look of determination on my face not realizing that these people are not real, lol. None of these video games had me thinking crazy stuff like you see and hear about people who have literally gone insane. Playing video games for me was fun and entertainment. It helped me to never get into big trouble (I got in some trouble but never major trouble). I understand that at some point we all had an addiction. Whether we were addicted to some of the following: Food, smoking, drinking, working, cleaning, gambling, etc., we all have a story or stories of how we overcome our addictions.
Meanwhile, my addiction to video games happened when I was in my early teens till late teen's. I would skip meals and play video games up until the wee hours of the morning sometimes. If I had chores to do or school work to do I would neglect them and be late doing everything because of my addiction to the video games. My addiction to video games came to the point where I had to go to summer school my junior year of high school because I had to make up classes that I failed. However, my addiction was a normal teenager addiction who didn't care whether it affected things or not. People who excessively play video games have a short attention span when people are telling them things. At some point, a person who is glued to their TV set could becoming socially detached because the video game or games that he or she is playing is stimulating and taking the place of interacting with other people. I didn't realize it until my 30's that the video games were my addiction and how serious it was. You have to admit that you have a problem. We don't always listen to our family and friends when they try to tell us things that may not be what we want to hear but it is good sound advice. Had I would have listened, I would have ditched playing video games as much and only played them on school outings.
Well, I am going to tell my readers and fellow bloggers how I conquered my addiction to video games. I traded my regular Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and the games that came with the 2 systems to a game store. All I have now is a regular Game boy, which I have not played in 18 years, and the games with the Game boy. I'm donating both my Game boy and the games with the Game boy to the Vietnam Military Veteran's of America. I have not been up to date on modern video game systems and games. I have officially stopped playing video games for 15 years now. I want to encourage y'all no matter what your addiction is you can conquer it. You have to want to quit and sometimes listening to your family and friends who try to tell you that your addiction is getting out of hand. "Hearing the truth sometimes can sound harsh but we know that it's what we needed to hear even when we didn't always like what is being said."

Jim Rome Funnies 2012
Jolene from Farmington on the Hackoff
I heard this funny segment on the hackoff when Jim Rome show was on the radio in Hartford. The rules is simple "have a take" and say something funny and make sense in what you say or you get "run." Jolene won the hackoff in 2012 to earn her spot in the smackoff. Jolene's segment of the hackoff never stop being funny lol!😀
Wildcard: Mark from Hollywood on the Smackoff
Not bad at all for a Wildcard that got the "Golden Ticket." If his cellphone was not breaking up he could have finished better than 6th place. Mark recovered though and was able to deliver "Oompa Loompa Doompa Dee Do" song from Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory and it was funny! 😌
Brad in Corona on the Smackoff
This guy focused on cracking on people who cracked on him. Funny but could have used sports references in his call. I understand why he finished in 7th place in the smackoff. He was funny though. 😃
Iafrate on the Smackoff
This guy used sports reference in his call and cracked on people who cracked on him. His comebacks were by far knock out blows to Brad in Corona and Mike in Indy. I enjoyed how he used Mark in Hollywood's "Oompa Loompa Doompa Dee Do's" song that he used in his call to clown how crappy Mark's cellphone was when it was breaking up, nice touch lol! This guy was robbed and should have won the smackoff!😀😄 Readers and fellow bloggers thank you for reading and comments. My 200th blog post shout out goes to y'all!! 😎

Still No Apology From Kelly Sadler or White House On Comment About Sen. ...
There is a big difference between a leak that was not meant to go public and when something goes public. Kelly Sadler's leak about what she said about Senator John McCain did not meant to go public. Sadler called Meghan McCain on the phone to apologize to her for what she said about Meghan McCain's dad. Joy Behar made comments that go public so many times and she has never really truthfully apologized no matter how inappropriate Ms. Behar's are. Michelle Wolf publicly roasted Vice President Mike Pence, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Kellyanne Conway. Wolf has not apologized for what she said and she was out of line. We are making an issue out of a leaked comment that a woman said that clearly she acknowledged that she was wrong for saying and the McCains and the media refuse to accept the fact that Sadler apologized to Meghan McCain on the phone. So it's okay to pick and choose who should apologize and who shouldn't apologize now? Things are bad when Liberals are making decisions when it is appropriate or not appropriate to apologize. The level of insanity is at an all time high.😫😓 I keep hearing that Meghan McCain is doing fine and that the McCain family is doing fine. How come 3 days later we are still hearing about what Sadler's comment as being inappropriate when Behar and Wolf inappropriate comments are "sweep under the rug." I'm not condoning anything that anyone say because we all say things that we should not have said. But Meghan McCain's saying that she "have always been truthful" when Meghan McCain says things on TV obviously have been proven to be not true. You don't say that you are happy and that you are doing fine when you are still complaining about a leaked comment that even your dad himself have admittedly said that he has a deadly cancer and that he is dying. I think it's to time to "forgive and move on" in my humble opinion.

New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart is discussing her decision to drop out of...
Republican Mayor of New Britain, CT Erin Stewart decided to drop out of the Governor's race and run for Lieutenant Governor. Mayor Stewart 31, decided that what is best for her party is to not run for Governor. Mayor Stewart couldn't raise enough money to get on the Gubernatorial debates with the other Republican Governor hopefuls (One of the debates in her home town of New Britain). Mayor Stewart, in my opinion made a wise decision. Mayor Stewart has been re-elected as Mayor for the 3rd time. Mayor Stewart made history being the youngest woman to be elected Mayor at age 26 in 2013. Mayor Stewart have did a wonderful job in the city of New Britain and the crime has gone down since Mayor Stewart took office. 🙆 Also, Mayor Stewart have a great opportunity to be Lieutenant Governor with a strong Republican nominee for Governor. Perhaps when the time is right Mayor Stewart will decide to run again as Governor once she is established and have the experience at being Lieutenant. I applaud Mayor Stewart for making a wise decision to not pursue running for Governor at this time!! 👏 This potential Governor hopefuls race is really stacked this year for the 2018 Election year.

Fictional Story: Burt Dickerson's Soulmate Test
Burt Dickerson 51, has been trying to figure out if he could ever find love again since his 2 nasty divorces from his ex-wives. Dr. Jane Wagoner, Burt's Psychologist did a test to see if Burt would meet someone again that he could fall in love with and marry. Burt's children have told him that he should stop seeing a "shrink" because Dr. Wagoner is only adding to Burt's depression. Burt has been contemplating overdosing on prescription drugs and hanging himself. Burt is at a low point in his life. Dr. Wagoner perhaps see "light at the end of the tunnel," for Burt. Burt is not really in any position to ditch seeing Dr. Wagoner. In fact, Dr. Wagoner have helped Burt get to the root of his depression problems and Burt feeling at times lonely because he is a divorced father of 5 children. Dr. Wagoner had Burt picture who he was looking for in a woman. Dr. Wagoner wanted Burt to write out a description of the woman he would like to meet and fall in love with. Burt did exactly that and Dr. Wagoner recommended that Burt go to a place that is out of his comfort zone where Burt wouldn't dream of going to and Burt is now on track to feeling optimistic again. Burt have been going to art galleries, opera shows, dog shows, etc in New York City.

Burt has always had a reputation as being a nerd. Burt, however is more into outdoor activities like biking, rock climbing, traveling, etc. Burt feels that getting out of his comfort zone and trying news things is a way to help him concentrate and perhaps meet the woman that he hope to meet and fall in love with. Dr. Wagoner might have done a big favor for Burt when Dr. Wagoner told Burt to be more spontaneous, take more risks, and try out new things that is out of the ordinary. Dr. Wagoner's goal is not to change Burt and get Burt to ditch his old activities that Burt enjoy doing for fun but to get Burt to see that there is more to Burt than just Burt's normal routine activities that Burt normally does. http://paulsbucs.blogspot.com/2017/04/fictional-story-burt-dickersons-problems.html

That said, you're much happier when you're surrounded by friends than you are sitting at home on your own, and you find meeting new people more exciting than you do scary.
